This dormitory is a seven-storey prefab building located near public transport stops - tram No. 4 and bus lines No. 24 and 30.  The building has been renovated (September 2025). The new building offers 390 student beds in single rooms with private bathrooms and in 2-bed duplex rooms (2x 2-bed rooms with shared bathrooms).

The office of the Baarova 36 Dormitory Manager is located in the Máchova 20 dormitory. Mrs. Stanková is in charge of the Baarova 36 and Máchova 20 dormitories.
